Joining a live call
Listen in, take over, or end the call yourself, any time. Joining is free.
Most of the time you don't need to be there. But if you want to hear how it's going, or say something yourself, you can step in.
Watch it live
Open the case while Aydria is calling. The card at the top shows exactly where things stand:
- Dialling the company,
- the phone menu, with the keys Aydria pressed,
- On hold, with a running timer (free, always),
- Talking to the person, with the transcript appearing line by line.
Join the call
- Click Join the call on that card.
- In the desktop app, your microphone connects straight away. Your browser or computer may ask for permission the first time.
- Without the desktop app, Aydria calls your phone instead. Make sure your number is filled in under Settings → Profile.
Once you're in, you can:
- Listen and let Aydria carry on.
- Mute Aydria / take over, and do the talking yourself.
- End call, if you've heard enough.
What it costs
Joining a call costs 0 credits. The case keeps the price you said Yes to. Hold time stays free, whoever is on the line.
Desktop shortcuts
The desktop app shows live call state in the menu bar or tray ("On hold 14:22"), so you can glance at it without opening anything. When someone finally picks up, you can open the call from there. See Download the desktop app.
When the company wants you, not Aydria
Some companies need the account holder on the line to check who you are. Then Aydria calls you in by itself. That works a little differently, and it's explained in When a company insists on you.
