Follow-ups and escalations
Aydria keeps chasing on a schedule until there's an answer, and proposes a formal next step when a company goes quiet. Escalating always needs your Yes.
Companies are slow. Aydria isn't in a hurry either, but it doesn't forget.
The follow-up schedule
After the first email, form or call, Aydria waits for a reply. If nothing comes, it follows up. By default:
- Day 3, a first follow-up.
- Day 7, a second one.
- Day 14, a third.
- Day 21, Aydria proposes an escalation and asks you.
When the law or your contract sets a deadline, that wins. For a delayed flight, for example, the airline gets six weeks to answer before Aydria takes it further.
Aydria only calls during a company's opening hours, and prefers the times they're least busy. The case shows what's next: "Waiting for KLM · next follow-up Fri 08:05".
What follow-ups cost
A written case includes up to 6 follow-ups in its 50 credits. You won't pay per reminder.
Escalations
If the company stays silent or says no, Aydria can take it further:
- a formal complaint to the company,
- a filing with an ombudsman or the geschillencommissie,
- information about small claims, if it comes to that.
An escalation costs 50 credits and never happens without your Yes. It shows up under Needs you with the price, and you decide.
Letters with weight
Sometimes a letter on paper works better. A paper letter costs 200 credits, printing and postage included. A registered letter (aangetekend) costs 1,000 credits and comes with proof of delivery; it's available on paid plans. Aydria never sends a first letter without your Yes.
Taking a break
Want Aydria to stop chasing for a while? Open the case, use the menu at the top and choose Pause chasing. Pick it up again whenever you like.
