Bank (PSD2, read-only)

A read-only bank connection is coming later. Until then, Aydria asks you to check whether the money landed.

This isn't available yet. A bank connection is coming later. Here's what it will do, and how things work until then.

What it's for

Aydria doesn't stop at "the company promised". It checks the result really happened. A bank connection would let it do that by itself:

  • Verify outcomes, like "€42.50 from Ziggo received".
  • Spot double charges and subscriptions you didn't know you had.

How it will work

  • Read-only. Aydria will see transactions, nothing else. It can never move money, pay or sign anything.
  • Through a licensed provider. The connection runs through PSD2, the European rules for this, via a licensed EU provider.
  • Your consent, renewed. PSD2 asks you to confirm the connection every 90 days. Aydria will remind you.
  • Like every connection, it's optional, explained before you connect, and you can disconnect in one click.
  • On paid plans. Like the calendar, it will be part of Plus, Family and Pro.

The raw transaction data will be kept for 30 days at most. Only facts you confirm go into memory.

Until then

When money should come back, Aydria tells you when to expect it and asks you to check: "Verify yourself: check your bank around 15 Nov. Aydria will ask you then." And it does. If the money isn't there, Aydria keeps chasing.

Email forwarding already works: forward a bank notification or a bill to your Aydria address and Aydria reads it.

Why later?

Bank connection providers charge for every connected user. We'll add it once Aydria can carry that cost. We'd rather tell you that than pretend it's ready.
