Turning memory off

With memory off, Aydria saves nothing new and uses nothing it already knows. Existing memories stay until you delete them.

Memory is on by default, because it saves you from repeating yourself. But it's your choice.

How to turn it off

  1. Open Memory in the sidebar, or go to Settings → Privacy and data.
  2. Switch off Memory on.

That's it. Switch it back on the same way whenever you like.

What changes

  • Nothing new is saved. Not from what you say, your cases, your documents or your connections.
  • Nothing is used. Plans are made without your memories, so the plan card shows nothing under What it knows.
  • You'll repeat yourself more. Aydria may ask for things it would otherwise have known, like your provider or your address for letters.

What doesn't change

  • Your existing memories stay, unused, until you delete them. Turn memory back on and they're there again.
  • Your vault. Secrets were never in memory, so they work exactly as before.
  • Your cases and proof. Running cases carry on, and everything they produce is still saved as proof.

Want them gone too?

Turning memory off doesn't delete anything. To delete:

  1. Open Memory.
  2. Choose Delete all memories.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Or delete them one by one, see Editing and deleting memories.

Somewhere in between

You don't have to choose all or nothing:

  • Mark one memory Don't use this and Aydria keeps it but leaves it out.
  • Mark something Don't remember this when Aydria offers to save it.
  • Say "Forget that…" in the composer or on WhatsApp.

Whatever you choose: your memories are never sold, never shared, and never used to train AI.
